About the Greater Grand Prairie Hispanic Chamber of Commerce

Grand Prairie resident and Dallas business man, Ralph Castro, launched the Greater Grand Prairie Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. Ralph Castro, who started the Southeast Dallas Hispanic Chamber of Commerce in 2007 to serve the Pleasant Grove area, had a vision to create a chamber that would promote and meet the needs of minority and non-minority businesses in the Grand Prairie area.

Greater Grand Prairie Hispanic Chamber of Commerce is commited to conducting training with topics such as bookkeeping, IRS rules, computer literacy, legal assistance and financial seminars.

(GGPHCC) Former President Jose Rodriguez pointed out how important small-businesses are to the economy. He added that many small-business owners, particularly Hispanic, are lacking information, resources and sometimes knowledge to make their business successful. He sees the new chamber as a point of contact for owners, to guide them to resources that can help build their business so it can contribute to Grand Prairie and the economy.

Our new President, Greg Vaquera, looks forward to working with the City of Grand Prairie, Grand Prairie Chamber of Commerce, Grand Prairie ISD and civic organizations.

Our chamber of commerce board of directors would like for the entire city to know that this group is interested in helping, assisting, developing, growing and making the community a better place for business and education.

Our Mission

The mission of our organization is to develop, promote and protect all businesses (minority and non-minority owned) in the Greater Grand Prairie and neighboring cities in Texas, and to support the advancement, education and economic growth of the free business enterprise.
